Simmons Equipment Company hosted its inaugural annual company picnic this past weekend, set against the picturesque backdrop of Clinch River Farms in Pounding Mill. Employees and their families enjoyed a beautiful day filled with fun, food, and friendship along the serene riverbank. Ziplining, fishing, and cornhole were among the medley of activities enjoyed by participants of all ages.
Southern Graces Catering provided a delicious spread of hamburgers, fried chicken, and hot dogs, with all the fixins. The meal was topped off with refreshing ice cream from Lou Lou’s Ice Cream Parlor. There was something for everyone to enjoy.
As good as the food and activities were, the main highlight of the day was the fellowship. Socializing with coworkers outside of work and bringing families together to create lasting memories are what made it such a great first company picnic.
