Simmons Equipment Company announces a new hire to their organization.
Scott Meade joins Simmons Equipment Company to serve as Sales Manager responsible for sales support, business development, and increasing customer satisfaction.
Meade brings over twenty-eight years of experience in sales management and product development from his prior work with East Penn Manufacturing, Caterpillar, and EnerSys/Yuasa/Yuasa-Exide. Most recently in his role as Sales Manager with East Penn Manufacturing, Meade had an extensive track record in customer relationship building and service management to successfully maximize production capacity. As New Product Development and Introduction Manager (NPI) with Caterpillar, Meade worked with cross-functional teams to ensure Room and Pillar Mining product development met customer, business, and regulatory expectations. While serving as the Mining Sales Manager at EnerSys/Yuasa/Yuasa-Exide, he participated in developing a corporate sales growth strategy that expanded global market share from 3% to 80% during his time there.
