Simmons Equipment Company hosted its second annual company picnic this past weekend at the Crab Orchard Museum and Pioneer Park in Tazewell. Employees and their families gathered for a wonderful day filled with fun, food, and camaraderie. Musical entertainment was provided by Noah Spencer, and kids (along with more than a few adults) enjoyed cooling off with a foam machine.
Your Grate Escape served a delicious spread of hamburgers, hot dogs, and barbeque with all the trimmings, while LouLou’s Icecream Parlor offered refreshing ice cream to top off the meal. There was something for everyone to enjoy.
The true highlight of the day was the fellowship among coworkers and their families. The chance to socialize outside of the office and bring families together created lasting memories, making this second company picnic a resounding success.
